INTRODUCING our NEWLY Redesigned Model 2015 NAV/COM Radio. Designed for Accuracy and Looks; the 2015 has the "Feel" of a Real NAV/COM Radio found in many aircraft of today.

The 2015 has two 12 Position Rotary Switches to allow easy and accurate "UP" and "DOWN" adjustments of the Navigation as well as the Communications frequencies so that you can get the All Important "Clearance" from Air Traffic Control. Also included are 2 Toggle switches that allows you select between MHz and KHz adjustments. You also have two "STBY" Spring Return Push Buttons. This allows you to flip between "Active" and "Standby" radio settings.

The 2015 uses the same "Eye Pleasing" Light Gray Plastic Cabinet as found on our other Avionics Panels. This makes the 2015 easily "Stackable" with our Model 1010 Avionics Panel, Throttle Quadrant (Models 1030 & 1040) and Model 1020 Switch Panel. This Stackability creates the "Look" of a Real Aircraft's center control panel.

The NAV/COM Radio Panel is mounted in an eye pleasing Gray Plastic case measuring:

8.00in Wide x 2.50in Height x 6.00in Deep inches

The USB Cable is Approx. 6.0 feet long

Please Note: The 7 Segment LED Readouts are non-functional displays. They are silkscreened onto the Front Panel to give that added Realism and Look of a Real Aircraft Communication Transceiver. The adjusted frequencies can be seen on the Microsoft
FS FS2002,  FS2004 or FS X Flight Simulator's On-Screen Radio Panel.

Using the NAV/COM Radio Model 2015:  
 
 
When properly programmed for either NAV/COM 1 or NAV/COM 2 using the licensed version of Peter Dawson's FSUIPS, you can bring-up the Radiostack just by clicking on the "DISPLAY" Icon. To change the Standy Frequency from 118.00 to 119.05; all you need to do is the flip the "MHz/KHz" (on the COM1 side) to "MHz" then turn the Digital Rotaty Dial "Clockwise" (to increase the setting - the 118 setting goes UP) "Counter-Clockwise" to lower the setting (the 118 goes DOWN). To change the "KHz"; just flip the Toggle Switch to the "KHz" position. Then using the same rotary switch; turn it Clockwise or Counter-Clockwise to increase or decrease the .00 setting.
 
To switch the 119.05 COM 1 setting from "Standby" to "Active", just press the "STBY" button. That's all there is to it. The NAV side of the Radio works the same way.
 
To "Hide" the Radioshack; just press the "DISPLAY" Icon again.
