INTRODUCING our Model 2020
Autopilot. Designed for Accuracy and Looks; the 2020 has the
"Feel" of a Real Autopilot found in many aircraft of
today.
The 2020 has two 12 Position Rotary Switches to allow
easy and accurate "UP" and "DOWN" adjustments of your
Altitude and Vertical Speed Select. Also included are 6
Push Button Switches that include:
"Autopilot MASTER On/OFF" (AP) "Heading Hold" (HSG) "Navigate" (NAV) "ILS Approach" (APR) "Reverse Course" (REV) "Altitude Hold" (ALT)
The "Altitude Hold" selector switch allows you to
adjust in increments of 100 feet; (Up or down) the altitude
you wish "Wings-Level" flight. The "Vertical Speed"
select switch, allows you to set (either + or -) the desired
rate of climb or decent in increments of 100 feet per minute.
Just like in a Real aircraft.
Tune in to the ILS
frequency on your Desktop Aviator's NAV/COM Radio, press the "APR" button and
watch as your aircraft is automatically aligned to the
proper heading for a safe landing at your
local airport.
Watch and learn as
your Autopilot banks to magically align itself with the
runway, using its ILS Approach setting. Or watch as your
aircraft turns to the selected Compass Heading using the
"HDG" button. Or fly a steady and true rock-solid Altitude
just by pressing the "ALT" Button.
The Autopilot by
Desktop Aviator is the perfect addition to the flight desk of
the "Seasoned PRO" or "Newbies" wishing to learn and perfect
their landing technique using available ILS Radio
Frequencies.
The 2020 uses the same "Eye
Pleasing" Light Gray Plastic Cabinet as found on our other
Avionics Panels. This makes the 2020 easily
"Stackable" with our Model
1010 Avionics Panel,
Throttle Quadrant (Models 1030 &
1040) and Model 2010 NAV/COM Radio Panel. This Stackability
creates the "Look" of a Real Aircraft's center control
panel.
The Autopilot Panel
is mounted in an eye pleasing Gray Plastic case measuring:
8.00in Wide x 2.50in Height x 6.00in Deep
inches
The USB Cable is Approx. 6.0 feet
long
Panel
Requirements:
One Unused USB Ports Licensed FSUIPC .dll Module
Please Note: The 7 Segment LED
Readouts are non-functional displays. They are silkscreened
onto the Front Panel to give that added Realism and Look of a
Real Aircraft Autopilot. The Altitude Hold and Vertical Speed
Display can be seen on the Microsoft FS FS2002, FS2004 or FS X Flight Simulator's
On-Screen Radio Panel.

Add a Good Looking and
Functional Autopilot to your Flightdeck for HALF the cost of
other Panels available on the
Internet. |
